Commission into college athletics • Nick Saban is set to co-chair President Donald Trump's commission on college sports, On3's Pete Nakos confirmed, and the other co-chair is expected to be Texas Tech board chairman Cody Campbell. • Yahoo Sports first reported Trump's plans to form a commission focused on college sports. The Athletic also added the president will be "very engaged" because of the national importance he sees in college athletics. • Over the last year, coaches and athletic departments have told athletes their roster spot would no longer exist following the adoption of the House v. NCAA settlement. Judge Claudia Wilken has put a pin in those plans. Strictly for Entertainment Purposes Only • The NCAA is considering ending its ban on gambling on professional sports as soon as June, according to Sports Illustrated's Pat Forde.
